How much notice do you require to place an order?

We require 48 hours advance notice for most special orders.

What kind of decoration is included in the price?

We include a fresh flower/ribbon decoration and your choice of script on all special order cakes.

Do you do custom decoration?

Custom decoration is available and priced on a case by case basis. Please ask a rep for details.

Do you put photos on cakes?

Layers prides itself with originality. Although we do not put edible photos on cakes, our artists are able to duplicate most ideas in icing.

Can you shape cakes?

Most custom cakes require the approval of a cake designer. Please contact us to discuss your custom shape and pricing.

Can I order a cake for the same day I need it?

Although special orders require 48 hours, we do have a selection of cakes available each day. Ask a rep for details.

Am I able to order a cake with a special theme?

Special themes are available upon request. However, all themes are custom and require discussion.

Do you do kids cakes?

Creative cake ideas for children's birthdays can be accommodated. Please discuss you ideas with a rep.

Am I limited to only the designs in your album?

No, Layers prides itself with its creativity. You are more than welcome to bring in new ideas that might interest you.

Do I have to purchase the cakes in your album as shown?

In many cases, the cakes in the album will be customized to fit you’re request and  the party’s specific needs. Total serving sizes, outer icing, and flavors are some of the variable’s you will be using  when placing  your order.

How do I know how much a Wedding cake will cost?

All Tiered cakes are priced on a per serving charge (PSC). The PSC includes: Local set up and delivery (Monday thru Saturday), a basic icing decor, a fresh flower decoration, and a multiple flavor option.

Can I order sheet cakes for additional servings?

Discounted sheet cakes are available for additional servings.

Do I need an appointment to place my order?

Although a wedding consultation is advised, phone orders can be arranged.

When should I book my wedding date with you?

  • Because space is limited each weekend we suggest a minimum of 3 months, even sooner for the ever so popular summer dates.

  • $100.00 Non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the space on our calendar. The fee will be applied to the overall price your cake.

  • Once the date is reserved, all final details are due no later than 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.
